The Steps to Success
Investing your RSP with PRISM Investments is a simple three step process designed to help you earn high returns.
Step 1: A self-directed RSP account will be opened with Olympia Trust for you. An initial setup fee of $125 will be charged in addition to an annual administration fee also of $125. Click here for an updated fee schedule from Olympia Trust Company.
Step 2: Your current RSPs will be rolled over, tax free, into the self-directed RRP set up by Olympia Trust. Any future RSP contributions can be made directly to your new self-directed RSP.
Step 3: Next, send a letter of direction to your trustee instructing them to release the money from your self-directed RSP. The money is transferred in trust to PRISM Investments’ solicitor (DMBH LLP In Trust) with instructions for the lawyer to release those funds for the purchase of shares in a specific investment opportunity with PRISM Investments. This entire process can take as little as 48 hours to complete.
Separate: After your investment has been made, you will receive statements from the trustee tracking all deposits, withdrawals and administrative charges on your self-directed RSP account.
